Our Picks
Our Picks: November
In honor of No-Shave November we are focusing on our favorite products for men this month! You may want to keep some of these in mind when shopping for hard to buy for men this holiday season 😉 Just an FYI that each product name is clickable if you want to go check out the individual product pages.
Beard Balm
The featured product for November (of course), our beard balm is made to protect and condition beards of all lengths and styles. You just take a pea sized amount of your fingernail and massage it into your beard. Even if you don’t have a beard, men can use a little bit in their hair when styling! I’ve also heard reports of women using it on their hair ends… The scent for this one is intoxicating, with notes of cedar, lemon, litsea cubeba, and anise.
Peppermint Lip Balm
For men who want to protect their lips from being chapped, but don’t want to wear anything too sweet smelling on their lips. This all-natural Peppermint lip balm will give your lips a light tingle from the peppermint essential oil, and it smells super fresh and herbal. Men like our lip balms because they don’t leave a glossy appearance when applied, but they go on smoothly (rather than being too waxy) and protect and moisturize the lips for hours.
Bergamot & Tobacco Soap
We like this one because it is smells like a fresh tobacco plant with a hint of bergamot citrus. When people sniff it they expect it to smell like cigarettes, but then are pleasantly surprised by how fresh it smells. I should also add that Bergamot & Tobacco soap is currently on sale in our online shop, among a handful of other bar soaps, etc., under the SALE tab at the top of our page.
Barber Shop Soap
Barber Shop is very popular for its similarity to the scent of old fashioned shaving cream. This is how we imagine a traditional shave and a haircut at a barber shop to smell like. It smells super masculine and very clean.
Paragon Eau de Parfum
Don’t let the words “Eau de Parfum” make you think this is a feminine concoction. Words like cologne, aftershave, Eau de Toillette, and Eau de Parfum, are just distinctions between the levels of concentration of essential oils and fragrance in an alcohol base. Eau de Parfum has the highest concentration of essential oils in alcohol vs. the others, making it a longer lasting fragrance, so we are going to stand by its high quality and not call it anything else! We use a masculine blend of essential oils including cedar and elemi with musky notes of sandalwood and a hint of moss, a combination that is not only woodsy, but spicy and fresh.
