A New Look for Our Soap!
It was about time that we updated the packaging for our soaps!
We had not touched the packaging for our soaps since we first started selling them, so after a few years they were in need of a makeover. Big time. They were the first thing we ever packaged since the inception of the business, so in effect they were the most dated looking. Since then we have gotten a lot better at designing our labels.
When we first started packaging the soaps, we wanted something simple and transparent, so that you could see the actual soap beneath its layer of protection. It would have been a shame if we had hidden the beautiful way we pour our soap batter into cool swirls and layers.
The new packaging stays true to the desire to keep the label simple and transparent. Before we used two labels, one on the front with our logo and the type of soap, and one on the back with the ingredients and other info. We never truly liked how the labels were sort of frosted and not completely transparent, but it seemed difficult to change it up with how many soaps we would have to repackage and change. Now though every part of the packaging is 100% transparent and seamless. We dig it. We now only have one printed area on the front with all of the information, rather than having two separate sides with information. It’s *literally* clear, and to the point – just how it should have always been.
If you have tried any of our summer soaps, you may have noticed the change to our new packaging. We hope to roll out the new look across all of our soaps very soon, and by September we should be fully transitioned !
